CHARADE
DEMENTED

by: Ashley Tia Long
I once believed in love,
Long, long ago.
But I learned the truth,
That love is just a show.
Feelings aren't real,
Emotions lie.
There's nothing to feel,
Since feelings always die.
I unmasked the charade,
That life tried to sell us.
That love was a thing,
We needed to trust.
But I saw underneath,
And I saw the bait.
I saw the truth,
That love is simply hate.
TWISTED
You are demented,
Completely insane.
Beyond twisted,
You take pleasure in pain.
No need to hide,
As you spread your hate.
You proudly show what's inside,
As your bare your true face.
You want others to see,
The horrors that you've done.
Because you want them to be scared,
Of the monster you've become.
So you instill fear,
In all who cross your path.
And soon you'll turn to murder,
To satiate your twisted wrath.

Please abuse me,
It's what I need.
It's a sick desire,
That you feed.
So I let you hurt me,
Because it feels so good.
How sick is it,
That it even would?
But I crave the torture.
And I ache for the pain.
Because I can't imagine living,
Without these bruises and chains.
So please abuse me,
It's what I need.
It's a demented desire,
Only you can feed.
